Lena's tail — prehensile, powerful, precise — can hold her full weight plus a basket of fruit. She has turned this into a service: the Tiny Ones' crane, lowering the best picks to the understory.

She keeps a mental map of every fruiting tree and its schedule. The Tiny Ones call her 'the elevator.' She pretends to mind. She has had it painted — in mud, on bark — nowhere. She is humble about it. Mostly.
