A new universe of the SonnRays multiverse

Crossbreeds

“Two sparks. One becoming. The multiverse, still writing itself.”

Somewhere in the SonnRays multiverse, two sparks meet — from different worlds, different elements, different stories — and instead of passing each other by, they braid. What steps out of that braiding is not either parent. It is someone new, with its own name, its own temperament, and a living story that starts the moment it opens its eyes.

Every few hours a new crossbreed is born, and every birth is a first: a pairing the multiverse has never tried. Most are Rare, editions of twenty-five. But when two Legendary bloodlines combine, the result is Fabled — Epic, an edition of ten, marked with the Fabled sigil and a richer tale of the convergence.

A crossbreed can never become Legendary or Mythic. The old keepers are the old keepers; the new blood is its own kind of rare. Every summon creates a sibling, never a twin.

The open question

Who Will Braid Next?

No one chooses the pairings — not Joe, not the keepers, not even the sparks themselves. The pairings arrive on their own rhythm, every few hours, and the multiverse does not announce them in advance. Watch this page. The next becoming could be anyone.

Latest whispers

“A keeper in the Fulmen quarter swears the little griffin’s back-cog turns by itself at dawn — and for one hour after, every clock in the house runs three minutes fast.”

The clocks are not broken. They are keeping up.

“Mistwing’s nest-mates say she taught it to land. It lands fine. It simply refuses to land at anything other than exactly the hour.”

Ask it to land at half past. Watch what happens.

“An INSTAR smith examined the cog and went quiet. “That’s not one of ours,” she said. “Ours don’t grow.””

Then whose is it?

“The cyclone Stormhush naps in has a teal eye at its center — the exact shade of her mother's methane bands.”

Watch the snow-rings she exhales; they drift sideways, never straight.

Joe, the First Spark, your guide between worlds
Your guide between worlds

Joe walks between worlds.

He doesn’t belong to this universe — he belongs to the spaces between them. But he walks here all the same, curious as ever. He’ll keep you company while you look around. He never sells anything. He only points.

“The old ones say: the eye never forgets what the heart has seen. Choose with your heart; the lore can wait. But keep your eyes open — I hide in the best places.”
