The story so far
Tomo's voice — mid-change, cracking on the high notes — is the chorus's great collective project. Boom rumbles approval. Aria waits through the cracks. Sachi teaches around them. He is, the chorus has decided, going to make it.

He cracked — spectacularly, publicly — during last season's great dawn sing. The forest held its breath. Then Boom rumbled, Aria waited, and Tomo finished. The applause was the dawn itself.
