The story so far
Gravy is a snoring ottoman with a heart of gold gravy, and he has never hurried for anything in his life. He moves at the speed of contentment, holds strong feelings about sofas (they're his), and drools with total commitment. The drool is not a flaw. The drool is a signature.
Happening now
He has achieved his final form: wedged between the couch cushions in a position that defies both physics and furniture warranties, snoring in a key that harmonizes with the refrigerator hum. The family eats dinner around him now. He is the table.
What may come
Gravy will one day merge fully with the sofa, becoming a single upholstered entity, and the family will simply buy a bigger sofa. Evolution favors the comfortable. Gravy is the fittest.
