The story so far
Rusty is a red blur with no brakes and no regrets. His ancestors set game birds for Irish aristocrats; Rusty sets a personal land-speed record every time the back door opens. Beautiful. Unstoppable. Sorry about the mud — he isn't, but the family says it for him.
Happening now
He has discovered the sprinkler. Not drinking from it — running through it, at full speed, in circles, until the yard is a swamp and Rusty is the happiest shade of brown. The aristocrats would not recognize him. The aristocrats are missing out.
