The story so far
Once Nezha of the flesh-ball birth. When he returned his flesh and bones to his parents, his teacher Taiyi Zhenren rebuilt him from lotus root for bones and lotus leaves for skin — a body that needs no food, feels no pain, and answers to no father. He came back quieter. The Universe Ring did not.
Happening now
He is standing in a lotus pond right now, perfectly still, while the Ring spins slow circles around him and the leaves rustle. The quiet is new. The Ring is not.
What may come
One day the lotus body will bloom — really bloom, root and leaf and flower all at once — and Nezha will finally be neither the flesh-ball's son nor the lotus's child, but whatever comes after both. The pond is waiting. The Ring is already spinning faster.
