The story so far
Moisture, mist, the lioness who ran. As the Eye of Ra she stormed off to Nubia in a rage, and the whole land dried up behind her until Thoth talked her home with stories, and Shu walked beside her, and she came back laughing. It is the most dangerous way a goddess comes back.
Happening now
She is home, and the rains have returned — but the priests swear she keeps a bag packed by the southern door, and the Eye goes where it pleases.
What may come
Next time the land offends her, Thoth will have to find new stories. He is already writing them, just in case.
