The story so far
She was a hockey goalie, and she took the ice with her when the Ringing came. Sleet's pellet barrages have iced over getaway cars, cooled a reactor, and decorated the Foundry Rows memorial every winter since. She keeps the rink frozen for the neighborhood kids. The Zamboni is jealous.
Happening now
It's the first hot week of the season and the memorial wreaths are wilting, so Sleet is out at the Foundry Rows at dawn, laying her careful frost over the stone the way she's done every year. The old-timers bring her coffee. She brings the winter.
