Those hind legs aren't for jumping — they're for hugging treasure. The Frog-legged Leaf Beetles are the vault's beloved commonfolk and its most enthusiastic hoarders.

She has hugged the same strongbox for six days and refuses to say what's inside. The strongbox is ticking, and she insists that means it is excited.
What may come
Whatever is in the box, she will be the first to know — and the last to let go. The ticking has started keeping a rhythm, and three Carapace vault-lords have separately asked her to teach it to their strongboxes.
