The story so far
Persephone was gathering flowers when the earth opened and Hades took her below. She ate the pomegranate seeds — six, by the count that matters — and became queen of the dead by her own bite.
Happening now
She spends half the year above with Demeter and half below as queen, and rules both seasons better than anyone expected. The dead adore her; the living only see her in spring.
