The story so far
She stopped changing four billion years ago and considers that a decision, not an accident. Every crater is a memory she refused to erase. The young moons call her the ledger; she corrects their orbits from memory when they forget.
Happening now
A new crater appeared last cycle — the first in an age — and she did not authorize it. She has been staring at it, trying to place the impact in her perfect memory. It does not belong to any bombardment she knows.
What may come
If the Primordial Suns are converging, Callisto's ledger may hold the only record of the last time it happened. She is searching her craters for the pattern. She has begun to suspect the new crater is not an impact at all, but a message.
