The story so far
The Herschel impact nearly shattered him and he wears the scar like a badge, telling the story to anyone who will listen. Saturn's smallest guardsman, they call him; he prefers 'most dramatic.' Enceladus's fame gnaws at him, which he denies at length.
Happening now
His crater-eye has been catching starlight at odd angles lately, winking at things he cannot see. He has started winking back, which the other moons find concerning. He insists it is called networking.
What may come
If the Primordial Suns converge, Mimas plans to stare straight at them through the Herschel eye — the biggest eye any small moon owns. He is practicing his unblinking. Someone has to watch, and it might as well be the underdog.
