The living story
The story so far
He absorbs nearly every photon that touches him and gives back only a faint red glow. The Court's spies report that he listens more than he speaks, which is easy when you are functionally invisible. What he is listening for, he has never said.
Happening now
He has taken to standing very still in the middle of the Court's brightest gatherings. It unnerves everyone, which appears to be the point. The blackness is deepening by fractions no instrument but fear can measure.
What may come
When the Primordial Suns converge, all that light will have to go somewhere, and TrES-2b intends to be standing in its path. What a world that eats light does with the light of converging suns is the question nobody asks him twice. He is saving his answer.
