The story so far
She hatched under a log that nobody else wanted — too small, too damp, too ordinary. Ringlet looked at it and saw potential. She has been the log’s biggest advocate ever since, and the log’s real estate value has tripled.
Happening now
She runs the night-shift snack patrol: tiny slugs, tiny worms, delivered to whoever’s hungry after dark. She keeps no ledger. "Kindness," she says, "is the only currency that spends in the dark."
What may come
She is saving up — though for what, nobody knows. She counts her pebble collection every night. The current total is 214. She will not say what the target is. She smiles when asked.
