Zip hops faster than the sidewinder strikes, and has a standing bet with the local rattlesnake to prove it nightly. The rattlesnake is losing and furious, which Zip finds delicious. The bet's stakes: one seed per dodge. Zip is the richest kangaroo rat in the Desert and the smuggest. The two are not unrelated.
