The story so far
He was born with one leg brighter than the rest — a flag-red third leg that he did not choose but has chosen to embrace. Barbipes turned a birthmark into a career: the dancing leg, the waving leg, the leg that gets all the attention.
Happening now
He is mid-rehearsal on a sunlit leaf, waving his red leg in slow figure-eights while a female watches from the stem. She looks unimpressed. This is normal. This is how greatness is forged.
What may come
When the dance finally lands, he will be a father, and his sons will inherit the red leg and the rhythm. The leaf will remember the season of the dancer long after he has gone.
