The living story
The story so far
She grew up in the canopy, where the ground is a rumor and the air is a highway. Pinktoe fell from her tree exactly once, shot her business across the whole clearing in fright, and has apologized to everyone involved every day since.
Happening now
She is webbing a new silk hammock between two branches, humming a tune she claims to have invented. Pinktoe weaves her homes at head height, so walkers learn to duck — a courtesy she calls 'traffic calming.'
What may come
One of these days a startled Pinktoe will loose a volley at exactly the wrong moment, and the whole Tarantula Court will pretend they saw nothing. Court etiquette exists for precisely this scenario.
