The story so far
Beni's washing rivals Yuki's — the two met once at the river and washed side by side in perfect silence — but where Yuki is law, Beni is joy. He washes because clean things are happy things.
Happening now
He has washed: fruit (all), stones (Tiko's kit, twice weekly), hands (his, others'), one extremely patient turtle. The turtle returns for washes now.
What may come
Rufus — who blushes at everything — blushes hardest at being washed. Beni washes him gently and tells him the red comes out brighter. It does.
