The story so far
Jaz learned his first birdcall at three — a hornbill's laugh — and has not stopped since. Forty-one species now, each with its feather, each feather with its story.
Happening now
He is working on the pitta's call, which requires a note he insists is 'blue.' The pittas are cooperating. They seem flattered.
What may come
If he ever learns the Oldest's call — if the Oldest even has one — the feather for that nest does not exist yet.
