Jengo discovered his calling during a storm — a branch bending under young ones, and his arms there before his mind caught up. He has been the bridge ever since.

He has held for the old, the injured, the terrified, and once — memorably — for a procession of Tiny Ones crossing to the fruit side. Nib rode across on his shoulder like a captain.
