The living story
The story so far
Boulder's great-grandfather hauled dairy carts through the Alps, and Boulder inherited the shoulders, the work ethic, and the absolute conviction that every chore is sacred. He leans into every task — literally leans, all hundred-plus pounds of him — and drools on your shoes as a blessing. Accept the blessing.
Happening now
He has appointed himself the children's sled-pulling service, and the hill behind the house now has a regular route, a waiting line, and a very large, very happy Bernese at the front of it. Tips are accepted in the form of leaning opportunities.
What may come
Boulder will keep hauling — sleds, carts, groceries, the occasional stuck car — until the mountains themselves tell him to rest. The mountains won't. They respect the work ethic.
Connected
Why someone keeps Boulder
- because he leans into every chore like it's sacred and he'll lean on you the same way
- because his drool on your shoes is a blessing and your shoes have never been luckier
- because he's the size of a cart with the heart of a cathedral
The Workers
Collies, shepherds, huskies, mountain dogs — they pull, guard, herd, rescue. They have a union and the union is strong. A Worker without a task will invent one, and the task will involve you.
