The story so far
Dash does everything in sprints, including affection. Thirty-five miles an hour for ninety seconds, then asleep for six hours — not laziness, but strategy. He once stole the good spot on the couch at a speed the family still argues about. Physicists have been consulted. The spot is his now.
Happening now
He has developed a routine: sprint the hallway, skid into the kitchen, receive a treat for the skid. The skid was an accident the first time. It is choreography now.
What may come
The kids are building an obstacle course in the backyard. Dash inspected it at full speed — four seconds — and approved it with a single bark.
