The story so far
Domino's grandmother ran beside the old fire carriages, or so the family stories go, and Domino inherited the whole mythology along with the spots. She still clears a hallway like it's an emergency — because it is, someone dropped cheese — and she still believes, deeply, that she is on duty. The duty is cheese. The duty is sacred.
Happening now
She has taken up station by the kitchen during dinner prep, spotted and alert, ready to respond to any crumb-related incident within seconds. Her response time is genuinely impressive. Her grandmother would be proud. The floor is spotless.
What may come
One day there will be a real emergency — a dropped wedding cake, a runaway stroller — and Domino will be ready, because she has been training for years on cheese. Legends are just practice that paid off.
