The living story
Dunewhisper was born where the dunes meet the open sky, the daughter of Faint's patient desert silence and Galefox's restless wind. As a kit she would lie belly-flat on warm rock for hours, ears swiveling, learning every voice the wind had. The golden seams in her scales first lit the day she outran a sandstorm that caught the whole dune flat.
These days she runs the borderlands between the dune fields and the high plains, carrying messages the wind would drop — she is the runner the other sparks call when a whisper matters.
The old trackers say one day she will hear a wind that has never blown before, and follow it all the way to the edge of the mapped world.
