Born of Tsunamipup of SonnRays — the giggly pup who became the tide itself — and Goliath of the Silken Dark, the largest spider on Earth. Tideweave inherited the giggle and the mass in equal measure: silk that holds birds now holds breaking waves, and the tidal force learned Goliath's bass-line patience.

Tideweave is learning the midnight wave-race the way Tsunamipup learned it — judging, never racing. The waves keep trying to impress the silk-spinner; the silk-spinner keeps applauding them for trying.
