The Smiter. Named once, in Spell 17, on the Greenfield Papyrus: who shoots with his eye, yet is unseen — drawn as a shrouded figure with only the eyes showing. Nothing else is known about him. The Forty-Third knows. The Forty-Third isn't telling.
He is unseen. He is always unseen. That is the whole report, and it is filed nowhere.
The texts name him once. Once was enough. He has not needed a second mention.
“A temple guard at the holy lake swears he saw two eyes in the sanctuary where no face was — just the shroud, and the eyes, the way Spell 17 draws him. He was watching the barque's reflection in the water. The barque was not on the water. It was night, and the barque was in the Duat.”
The Smiter watches the sun's reflection. The sun is not there.
