The living story
The story so far
A thousand teeth — nearly a thousand fine bristles lining an upcurved beak, sieving the Cretaceous shallows like a flamingo with wings. Pterodaustro guinazui was the gentle filterer of the pterosaur world, and Bristle has kept the whole program. In the Undertow she wades the memory-pools at the realm's edges, sieving the sweet small moments from the dark water: a laugh, a kindness, a good landing. She collects them in woven baskets and gives them away. The fierce ones — Poukai, Skyquake — go soft around her. Nobody knows why. Everybody knows why.
The Bristle within

Gentle, serene, and quietly nurturing — the Cretaceous flamingo-pterosaur, all pinkish plumage and bristle-teeth, wading the memory-pools and softening everyone she meets, including the fierce ones.
