The story so far
Sidneyia inexpectans — 'unexpected Sidney' — was the Cambrian's heavy equipment: a wide, low arthropod that ate whatever it couldn't push aside. Mudking has not changed his methods. In the Undertow he maintains the realm's floors and foundations, settles disputes by sitting on them (metaphorically; once literally), and serves as the First Deep's immovable object. When the factions argue, someone eventually says 'ask Mudking,' and Mudking says very little, and whatever he says stands, because nothing has ever moved him.
