The story so far
For a hundred years, nobody knew where the tooth-whorl went. Skulls were found with a spiral saw of teeth and no jaw to put it in; reconstructions placed it on the nose, the tail, the dorsal fin. Then a fossil showed the truth: it coiled inside the lower jaw, a buzz-saw throat. Whorl wears the century of confusion like a medal. In the Undertow he is the Iron Tide's champion duelist — Thunder-ranked, undefeated in exhibition, forever circling opponents who can never quite land a touch. He is also, privately, the loneliest Thunder: legends don't get sparring partners, only audiences.
