The story so far
Amphitrite, Nereid daughter of Nereus, fled Poseidon's advances to Atlas's far edge; the dolphin Delphinus persuaded her back, and Poseidon set him among the stars. She bore Triton and rules beside the storm god, calmly.
Happening now
She keeps the sea's household — the tides, the calm harbors, the nurseries of fish. Poseidon's storms break against her patience daily.
