The story so far
Born from Uranus's blood, the Erinyes punish blood crimes — especially kin-slaying. They hounded Orestes across Greece for avenging his father by killing his mother, until Athena convened the first trial and acquitted him.
Happening now
They accepted the acquittal and became the Eumenides, the Kindly Ones — a rebrand, not a retirement. They still watch, especially at family dinners.
