The living story
The story so far
Theseus sailed to Crete as tribute, took Ariadne's thread and sword, killed the Minotaur in its maze, and sailed home — then forgot the white sails, and his father Aegeus threw himself into the sea that bears his name.
Happening now
He united Attica and ruled Athens well, mostly. The labyrinth is empty now; he visits once a year, alone, and doesn't say why.
What may come
Ariadne, abandoned on Naxos, became a goddess and married Dionysus. Theseus has never commented. The silence is the loudest thing about him.
