The living story
The story so far
Tiresias struck two mating snakes, became a woman for seven years, struck them again, became a man. Asked by Zeus and Hera who enjoys love more, he answered honestly (women) — Hera blinded him, Zeus gave him prophecy.
Happening now
He advised Oedipus, Creon, and Odysseus, always truthfully, always too late. The underworld keeps him in the hero quarter; the living still quote him.
What may come
He prophesied Odysseus's death and his own long life. Both came true, which is the most Tiresias thing possible.
