The story so far
Artemis chose the wilderness over Olympus before she could walk, and has enforced the boundary ever since. Actaeon saw her bathing and became a stag; her own hounds did the rest. The songs call it a warning.
Happening now
She runs with her nymphs by moonlight, and the forests have never been safer — or more dangerous. Lately she has been seen watching the mortal cities from the treeline, the way a hunter watches a herd.
What may come
The moon waxes and wanes, and so does her mercy. The hunters say the next great hunt she calls will not be for any animal.
