The living story
The story so far
Kepler-1649c hid in plain sight in Kepler's old data until 2020, misfiled by an algorithm and rescued by human eyes. She is the most Earth-like in size and temperature of all Kepler's finds — and the one the universe tried hardest to keep secret. She has never forgotten either fact.
Happening now
Her observations have grown strange: she logs light-curves no one assigned her, tracking a slow brightening far beyond her system. When the Court asked why, Mirror said simply — someone has to watch the watchers.
What may come
Mirror's private logs describe lights moving the way only Primordial Suns were said to move. She has not shared the logs. She is waiting to be sure — because being sure, for her, is the whole point.
