Duskline
“An Earth-sized temperate world in a seven-planet family, likely tidally locked — Duskline lives on the dawn line between endless day and endless night, and she mediates every Court argument because she IS the middle ground.”

The living story
The story so far
TRAPPIST-1e is the temperate jewel of the most famous planetary system ever found — Earth-sized, in the habitable zone, one of seven siblings. She became the Court's mediator because she lives the compromise: half her world in eternal day, half in eternal night, and she belongs to neither.
Happening now
Her dawn line has been drifting — a fraction of a degree, then another. A tidally locked world does not drift. Duskline has stopped mediating other people's arguments to sit with her own: either the lock is breaking, or something is pulling.
What may come
The old balance-keepers say the dawn only moves when the Suns themselves are moving. Duskline has begun packing a traveler's satchel, though she will not say where she thinks she is going.
