The living story
The story so far
She was born on the exact line where the waves stop — the tide-line nest her mother chose because "the view is worth the commute." Tideband has been commuting ever since: reef by day, shore by night, belonging completely to both.
Happening now
She ferries messages between the reef fish and the shore reptiles — the only translator both sides trust. Her rates are reasonable. Her gossip is priceless.
What may come
She is teaching her hatchlings the commute now: which currents, which rocks, which gulls to ignore. "You are citizens of two worlds," she tells them. "Act like it. Tip your ferryman."
