The living story
The story so far
She discovered her calling when she accidentally swallowed a guinea fowl egg as a juvenile and felt, in her words, "a completeness I have chased ever since." She has been chasing it professionally for years.
Happening now
She runs the Coils’ egg exchange: found eggs in, fair shares out, shells recycled to the calcium pile. It is the most honest market in the reptile world. Her books are immaculate. Her appetite is not.
What may come
She holds the annual Yolk Classic — a timed egg-swallowing exhibition. She wins every year. She also organizes it, judges it, and provides the commentary. Nobody minds. It’s her thing.
