Other jerboas hop. Sirocco sails — ears out like wings, riding the hot wind for fun, landing exactly where he meant to, every time. Allegedly. Witnesses confirm the landings; the 'meaning to' is Sirocco's own testimony and should be weighed accordingly. The wind, for its part, seems fond of him.
