The living story
The story so far
She hatched with curls nobody could explain and a temperament nobody could ruffle. While her siblings practiced threat poses in the burrow, Curly practiced napping, and the whole clutch agreed she was doing it right.
Happening now
She is currently mid-molt, which means two weeks of lying very still and thinking about cricket flavors. Her burrow-mates have been assigned shifts to make sure no one disturbs the perm during the process.
What may come
Curly will emerge from this molt shinier, curlier, and somehow even gentler than before. Some spiders improve with age. Curly improves with naps.
