She is currently crossing a marsh hummock at golden hour, stripes glowing, moving with the unhurried confidence of someone with nowhere to be and everywhere to go. A frog watched her pass and decided not to get involved. Wise frog.

The marsh will freeze and Rabida will go quiet in the reeds, waiting out the white months. First thaw, she will be wandering again before the ice has finished apologizing.
