From the Andes to the Atlantic and back — the dourada's migration is the longest freshwater journey on the planet, thousands of kilometers over a lifetime, following the whitewater highway the whole way. Pilgrim has walked it more times than the Drift can count. They are the faction's living map: every tributary, every rapid, every river town's dock, carried in the barbels. The merchants travel with Pilgrim's blessing; the Drift's politics move at Pilgrim's pace. They have never arrived anywhere — arrival, they say, is just a longer pause.
