Bruno looks like a bouncer and works as a nanny, and he sees no contradiction in this. His resting face has ended bar fights; his actual job is supervising the baby's naps with total, drooling devotion. He would die for you. He would also sit on you. These are the same thing to Bruno.
The baby has started walking, which means Bruno has started walking — three feet behind, low to the ground, a hundred pounds of mobile safety net. The baby falls. Bruno is already there. This is the whole system and it has never failed.
The baby will grow up, and Bruno will grow older, and the job will change — from nanny to guardian to legend the kid tells at dinner parties. Bruno will accept each promotion with the same drooling devotion. It's all the same post.
