The story so far
Mochi is a cloud that learned to walk, and she has deployed this fact with strategic precision. Her fur has ended more bad days than any therapist in the county, and she knows it — she positions herself accordingly, drifting toward whoever looks saddest like a small white weather system of comfort.
Happening now
The teenager of the house had a rough week, and Mochi has been stationed on the teenager's feet for four consecutive evenings, fluffy and immovable. No words were exchanged. None were needed. The cloud handled it.
What may come
Mochi will eventually be prescribed by actual doctors. Until then she continues her rounds: one sad human at a time, maximum fluff, zero copay. The waiting list is the whole neighborhood.
