The living story
The story so far
Pickle is a snorting philosopher in a wrinkled suit, and he has the tenure to prove it. His positions are well-documented: naps, pro; stairs, con; your lap, his. He snores in iambic pentameter and has never once been embarrassed about anything, including the time he fell off the couch mid-snore and blamed the couch.
Happening now
He is currently conducting a long-form study on the optimal sunbeam, rotating through the living room in fifteen-minute increments like a tiny, wheezing sundial. Findings so far: the 3 p.m. beam is superior. Peer review is pending. The peers are asleep.
What may come
Pickle will eventually publish — probably by sighing heavily near a publisher. Until then, the philosophy continues: every lap is his lap, every nap is earned, and dignity is a construct for dogs with longer legs.
