Her signature behavior: she kneels at dusk's edge and waits for the first blossom to open before she moves — the bloom is her starting gun.

The living story
Bloomrun was born where the Warren's meadow grass thins toward the Amazon's dark water — a meadow mouse mother who ran the hawk's open sky and a blossom parent who keeps its door open for whatever the night river brings. She inherited both hungers: Pippa's need to run the exposed ground, and Gulletbloom's need to stay open after dark. So she split the difference — she runs the exposed ground, but only in the dark.
Tonight she has decided the old riverbank trail is too easy, and has set her sights on the far hedgerow — a run no one has made in a single night. She is crouched at dusk's edge now, watching a bud, waiting for it to open. When it does, she goes.
Rumor says her petal trails never fully fade — that deep in the meadow there is a constellation of moonflower paths only visible at 3 a.m., and that one day she will connect them into a single endless run. She has not denied it.

“Once a year she runs the whole riverbank at moonset and does not stop until the sun is up. The blossoms bloom all day that day.”
