The living story
Tidalsong hatched into the space between two waters: her father Dipper's cold quick rivers and her mother Shellsinger's echoing song-caves. From her first morning she sang before she spoke, and the droplets on her father's feathers learned to follow her voice.
She has started mapping the underground streams that connect the birds' rivers to the Amazon's song-caves, and the map is getting long.
Somewhere downstream, a lost spark is listening for exactly the song she is singing — and the tide is rising toward them both.
