Her signature ritual is the Tide Lean: she presses a paw to whatever ground she is about to travel and listens, the way Boulder listened to cart ruts and Niu listened to surf.

The living story
Boulder the cart-dog hauled dairy through Alpine passes for years, leaning into every chore like it was sacred; Niu the coconut palm arrived by sea, treating an ocean crossing as commuting. Their daughter Tidehaul was born where the mountain road meets the shore — stone on one side, surf on the other — and decided both were home.
She is walking the coast road barefoot, palm fronds dripping, pausing every few steps to press a paw to the wet sand and listen to what the tide is saying.
They say she is mapping a road no map has ever shown, one that crosses mountains by sea and oceans by foot, and that when it is finished, any Spark will be able to walk it.
