“Kashe is the daughter of Marko's brother — older cousin to Layla and Amari, and insanely beautiful and powerful in her own right.”

The living story
The story so far
She was an electrician, and she wires light itself. Kashe's light-wire constructs — tripwires, snares, safety nets of pure glow — catch what falls and hold what breaks. She rewired the Drowned Quarter's blackout in a night. The bulbs still glow a little.
Happening now
The hospital's backup grid is flickering and Kashe is up in the conduits with Static riding the surges beside her — light-wire and living charge, weaving the grid back together. The nurses have stopped worrying. The bulbs are glowing a little. They always do, after her.
What may come
Lumen wants to collaborate on a city-wide light-net — hard-light platforms strung on filament wire, a safety net over the whole harbor. Kashe has already drawn the schematic on a napkin. The napkin is now in the Dawnforge archive. It glows a little.
“Lumen's light should vanish the moment she lets go — it doesn't, not anymore, not at 3 a.m. along the Foundry bridge. Kashe strung her light-wires across one to measure it and found the glow holds a shape: a platform, a handrail, a figure standing at the edge, face turned away. She rewound it three times. The figure was waiting in all three. The bridge has been closed to testing. The light is still there.”
Vesper's makers and light-wrights — tech geniuses, hard-light architects, and suit-builders who answer calls with invention. The Dawnforge doesn't wait for powers. It builds them. Every suit is original. Every light is earned.
