The living story
The story so far
He was a window-washer turned sky-hunter — Talon's raptor-kin dives strike from above with falcon precision. He has snatched weapons from hands, kites from power lines, and one very expensive hat (returned, with apologies). He nests on the North Tower. The pigeons pay rent.
Happening now
A runaway construction tarp is tangling the North Tower antenna array, and Talon is up there in a stoop, threading the lines like a falcon through branches — the pigeons supervising from the ledge, as is their right as tenants. The hat incident has not been repeated. The hat owner still sends a card.
What may come
Skyborn keeps inviting him to run the high sky-lanes — real altitude, real wind, falcon country. Talon keeps saying the North Tower is home, but he's been circling higher every week. The pigeons have noticed. The rent is still paid.
